Iridology

Iridology uses the appearance of the eye, and in particular the iris, to assess mental and physical health. Practitioners can identify past and present disorders and predict future problems by studying the colour, condition and markings of a patient's iris. Iridologists claim they do not diagnose actual diseases but pinpoint weaknesses in the body so that health problems can be avoided. The iris has thousands of nerve endings and iridologists claim that it is linked to every organ and tissue in the body. Neuro-optic reflexes in the iris are said to react to disorders in the body marking the related part of the iris.

Iridology is sometimes used as a diagnostic tool by Homeopaths and Naturopaths, and very often these are the treatments of choice once the Iridologist has identified the problem.

Treatment is especially useful in treating the following health conditions:

You are recommended to seek advice of a qualified health practitioner. To find a qualified practitioner in your area look in the Practitioner Directory.
